Here’s a date for your diary, Cineworld will be opening what can only be described as Wembley’s holy temple of cinema, late this October. Boasting 9 screens and located opposite the shrine of football, Wembley Stadium.
The mass market multiplex giant usually attracts a customer base of 18-24 year olds seeking out the latest 3D blockbuster movies; although the Wembley location will make this Cineworld rather unique to other locations, here’s why:
- On event days, visitors will be more engaged staying in Wembley for longer durations to watch a movie before or after an event.
- Cineworld will go local and tap into Wembley’s Bollywood audience.
- Men come to watch the football, women will shop at the LDO or catch a movie (an old fashioned view I know).
Here’s my top 5 must watch upcoming movies for 2013
- Riddick – 4th September
-
Gravity – 18th October
-
Captain Phillips – 18th October
-
Thor: The Dark World – 30th October
