With the tragic news of NBA Basketball legend Kobe Bryant’s passing, it is a little-known fact that he once visited Wembley in north west London.
Two years ago when the North London club Tottenham Hotspur were using Wembley as a temporary venue, Basketball icon Kobe Bryant visited the Stadium to watch them take on Liverpool FC.
Following the match, Kane was seen exchanging words with NBA great Bryant, who spent his entire 20-year career with the Los Angeles Lakers, where he won five NBA championships.
Spurs presented Bryant with a personalised jersey, and the 39-year-old posed for photos with Pochettino’s squad in the Wembley dressing room.
Amazing to meet @NBA‘s @kobebryant. Had a good chat after the game – he chose a good one to come and watch! #nba pic.twitter.com/DNK8MHcced
