Car explodes outside Wembley Park tube

A car has exploded outside Wembley Park tube station.

On Thursday night about 9:30 pm a car was seen engulfed in fire and appeared to have crashed into railings next to a busy bus stop.

The severity of the incident led police to completely cordon off Bridge Road, Wembley Park.

The London Fire Brigade tackled the incident leaving a burned-out shell of the vehicle opposite Wembley Park tube station.

People in the area took to social media sharing information about the incident but there has been nothing reported from the local press (have they been told not to say anything?).

We’ve requested more information from the Police for this ward but they are yet to respond.
