New app by EE lets kids hack Wembley Stadium arch

We’ve seen it display team colours.

We’ve seen it illuminate for causes.

We’ve seen a man walk on it.

You could even zip wire underneath it.

Now it can turn your child into a computer programming wizard.

Kids can hack the arch via an app ‘that teaches 7 to 11-year-olds how to code’.

A collaboration between Wembley stadium sponsor EE and education technology charity Apps for Good is aiming for a “wider commitment to battle digital exclusion and get more young people into technology and coding”.

The results of children’s arch manipulating genius won’t just stop at the app, ‘A selection of the design submissions will be randomly chosen to appear on the arch after the final whistle of England’s match against Netherlands on Tuesday’.

Is there anything Wembley stadium’s arch cannot do? EE teaches kids how to code by inviting them to create Wembley Arch light show.
