London Tweets. . . Mapped

A huge data dump from Twitter can now be found mapped, revealing where location enabled tweet activity happens.

The map above is zoomed into the HA9 area and shows that Wembley is the Twitter hotspot of north-west London.

Originally posted on Mapping London which states that the map was created by Eric Fisher of Mapbox. The data consists of 6.3 billion tweets and has taken several years to produce.
