Last Sunday I was lucky enough to get a pair of tickets to Wembley Stadium, one of the most famous Football Stadiums in the world with modern installations and the unmistakable arch.

In all the 15 years living in London this would only be the 3rd time that I’ve visited the Stadium. Unbelievably, ‘football’ has never been a reason for going.

I must say, my first visit to Wembley was in 2007 to see my favorite band Metallica play. The second was the Nike 10K run in 2008 when I had the opportunity to run through the tunnels of the stadium. My most recent visit last week on Sunday was to watch the NFL International Series, Oakland Raiders vs Miami Dolphins.

American football, yes but I have never gone to see a proper football match, the world’s most passionate sport which drives people around the World to come to Wembley.

You might say there is nothing wrong with that and I agree but 4 years ago my wife and I moved to one of the new developments exactly 8 minutes away from the iconic Wembley gates.

My friends and family back in Brazil say that it is unacceptable that I never went to see any football matches and some of my friends would watch every single game possible no matter what team just for the love of this English sport.

I don’t particularly like football, I don’t like carnival, as a Brazilian I should say it is quite unusual. I’ve heard a few times if you don’t like football and carnival you are not a real Brazilian.

The real Brazilian is crazy for both but after the incredible evening I had on Sunday watching NFL with such an amazing atmosphere and great energy, maybe I should try to go more often? Maybe the spirit of this incredible Stadium would change my mind about the national sport called football?

Here are some photos from the NFL International Series, Oakland Raiders vs Miami Dolphins and if you require a professional photographer get in touch.
