Anyone else experiencing a rather unpleasant wiff of traditional chiense and indian dishes in the southcourt? We have extractor fans in our kitchens, lets please maximise them.

  • I think that the smell coming out of one corridor in particular seems to really stink I will not say but you know who you are , Olivar needs to do something abou this.

  • I would love residents to share their recipes like they do on Come Dine With Me, but I don’t like it when residents share their recipes, over powering, aroma by leaving front doors open. It’s the last thing I want to encounter after a long day at the office, completely knocks me out sometimes.

I’m sure the food taste amazing but smelly foods should be kept private. However, I’m not going to just rant, I will also provide some guidance below, follow these steps:

    1. close your kitchen door

    2. open your balcony

    3. turn on your extractor

  • Totally true! I come back from work and I soon as I enter the southcore it smells of food! It’s quite embarrassing when other residents of the block have guests and the first thing they encounter is a strong smell of food at the entrance of this block. The smell then goes into the lift which then trasfers to other floors… I truly feel for the residents who live near the culprit flat… The fans work really well in this building they are there to be used.

  • Fortunately I didn’t get chance to smell it! Where is it from? I am sure there must be some method to convey our message to them.

    😉

  • Guys, the smells are sometimes really bad in the South Core, and quite embarrasing when you have guests over….. Isn’t there anything we can do about this? Can’t we sin some kind of a petition to put extractors in the corridors?
