10 Days Until London Designer Outlet Opens

Fans coming to events at Wembley can soon enjoy katsu before kick-off from the Japanese inspired restaurant Wagamama.

In true Nostradamus fashion, back in October 2010 residents and I discussed which brands will be occupying the commercial space on our door step, I commented about Wagamama coming to Wembley:

Almost 3 years later the prophecy has been fulfilled, Wagamama will be joining the restaurant line up at London Designer Outlet! Wembley Wagamama will be its 100th restaurant and if you weren’t quick enough (or invited) the opening day on the 22nd is now fully booked. Fashionistas received invitations enticing them with freebies:

So with one exciting announcement down and more to follow, which other brands are on the bench? It’s rumoured that River Island and Abercrombie & Fitch could make an appearance at the Wembley LDO. Also the £90 million Brent Civic Centre could be moving in a new tenant going by the name of Wembley Waitrose.

Rumours aside, the opening ceremony is fast approaching with Wembley Park’s neglected landscape now being reinvigorated. Bobby Moore’s bridge outside Wembley Park Tube is now fitted with banners, alluring would be shoppers. Underneath, the bridge is equipped with disco lights and a sound system (I’m not kidding).

Our ‘brand’ new neighbours are slowly moving in, here’s the rather attractive H&M.

H&M is coming to wembley

Noisy neighbour alert! It’s a very bright Superdry reminiscent of Tokyo and its abundance of fluorescent signage.

When you eventually drag yourself away from the bargain hunting, this is waiting for you.

Come back soon to LDO

London Designer Outlet will open on the 22nd of October followed by the opening ceremony on the 24th of October. The opening hours are 9AM – 8PM daily with restaurants staying open for longer.

With Wendyfairs Wembley Market left out of the emerging Wembley Park picture; they have managed to secure a new home. Only round the corner from their previous patch, the former Wembley Market is now situated on Second Way; a Wembley trading estate often used by organised illegal parking during events. The former Wembley Sunday Market will be open this Sunday 13th October.
