Velocity 1

They provide an absolute rubbish service, the person by the name of Laurent has no manners and cannot solve any problems.

I have had numerous issues with them being a customer since March 2010, they keep charging me for phone calls that I have never made, never send any breakdown of the bill even via email.

The most recent thing is that they have charged me for SKy Sports that I have never subscribed to and I have another huge phone bill when I was out of the country for that time.

I have decided to complain to OFCOM as Velocity seem to have monopoly on services but most importantly the fact that I cannot find them registered anywhere and they do not ahdere to OFCOM code of practice.

This Laurent fellow did not even have the company’s registered address to hand, or their registration number, when I asked him to provide an address to make a complaint, he stated that there is no address, after asking for it over and over again he gave me a P.O.Box address without a postcode, when questioned he said you do not need a postcode, is this guy for real?

  • That’s awful customer service, many residents seem to have a negative sentiment about the service they receive from Velocity1.

    I haven’t needed to deal with V1 customer service much, I just use the broadband package which works a treat, so I’m a happy customer I guess. I’ve decided to avoid the TV package based on what I’ve heard here and elsewhere.

    Is anyone actually happy with the service from V1?

  • To tell you the honest truth I think the picture quality on my tv since I have gone through velocity one is really bad and very disappointing! Don’t get it save your money!

  • Service is a joke. I have tv, phone and internet. I haven’t used my V1 tv package for at least 8 months because it never worked properly. When i first tried to cancel the tv service last year they wanted to charge me more for using the phone and internet? Even though I explained that my TV is pre programed with free view they wouldn’t let me out of the contract even though the service was crap. Phone was not connected when promised. I have just cancelled my contract with V1. Moving over to Talk Talk, cheaper service, customer service and tech team you can talk to straight away.

  • Dear all I have velocity1 from last 16 month and this is worst service provider and I have same problem the picture quality is very worst and the customer service is very bad even I compliant so many times I did not receive any good reply from them I am going to cancel the service from the velocity1 who ever got their service from velocity1 they should change provider immediately I am fed up with their service the customer service is so bad they do not even what they selling or talking quadrant court residents should avoid velocity1 and the service provider
