New Super Library in Brent

Wembley City residents will feel the brunt of Brent libraries closing

  • much less than residents who live further afield; because the money saved will be used to proceed with building a Super Library right on our door step.

The exciting plan offers a 21st century service which will be part of Civic Centre near Wembley stadium. So rather than a fragmented library service dotted around various patches in Brent, instead a centralized library will serve all residents.

Libraries are being closed because Brent local government needs to save £41.7 million, which is a result of the central government spending cuts.

The High Court rejected the challenge by campaigners to protect Brent libraries.

  • Neasden
  • Cricklewood
  • Tokyngton
  • Kensal
