Wembley City new leadership plan, hires investment banker

In an on-going re-shuffle of the Quintain Estates property arm and in preparation for the assumed spin-off to Brent Cross owner Hammerson, Wembley City’s leadership gets a high profile new hire. A real estate investment banker has been on boarded to lead Wembley Citys urban regeneration activities. Max James will be leaving a company he founded to take over the day-to-day responsibilities of the former deputy CEO. He will be a backfill for deputy CEO Nick Shattock who will be leaving end of June. Shortly after news of James joining Quintain we learn that the Wembley City developer have won planning consent for Wembley City North West lands. Both the London Designer Outlet and Wembley City North West Lands are two key milestones that James will be overseeing.

“Max brings broad experience from the real estate and property finance arenas which will provide further momentum in the delivery of our business plan,” said Quintain’s founder and chief executive Adrian Wyatt. James past roles includes global head of real estate at HSBC.
