Council Tax

Should Quadrant Court residents get a discount on council tax? Being that Council tax includes us making a contribution to rubbish collection services offered by brent.

Since we use the Envac Waste system, which is managed by Envac which is a separate organization to Brent, our contribution to rubbish collection by brent services is invalid.

Fellow residents, what’s your thoughts on this?

  • I believe you have a valid point, because we are paying for something that we are not recieving.

Furthermore, I believe that our council tax itself, is too high, as similar properties (1, 2 and 3 bedroom properties) in this immediate area have lower tax bands.
These buildings include; Raglan Court, Alexandra Court, Elizabeth House.

Their house prices are similar or higher than ours (Quadrant Court), but have a lower tax band (B).
