Shut the Door!

Hi all,

I kknow this is old news again but I don’t know if there are some people in the building that don’t know how to read by the looks of things. On the door there is a nice note saying “Close the door behind you” This means: when you enter or leave the premises you need to shut the door behind you and not leave the door open for the world to walk in when they want….
I’ve entered the building many times and whilst I’m walking up the stairs people are walking out and leaving the door open which infuriates me!!! So I go back down and shut it! Please can you respect other residents!

  • I agree all the way, we need to pile the pressure on to get an urgent response to our main entrance in need of repair! People without keys are abusing the broken door so they can always get back in.

  • That nice note you speak of doesn’t work, the demographic of this building requires notices to include Gujarati, Urdu, Punjabi, Arabic, Chinese & Somali. English alone has absolutely no effect, you would think LRM would learn from this by now, it has been over 7 months of residents ignoring Olly’s notices.

You can pressure LRM to repair the main entrance all you like but it will just get broken again without proper signage in different languages, warning people.
