It’s that time of the year when pets have nervous breakdowns and the sky lights up with pyrotechnics. Celebrations of the foiled plot by Catholics to blow up the Houses of Parliament were somewhat extinguished. The London fire brigade announced a proposed strike during Bonfire Night. Sounds ridiculous, putting lives at risk on what usually is one of the fire services busiest times of the year. The good news is, earlier today the strike was confirmed as cancelled. So, for those of you who planned to stay at home because of the strike, can continue to enjoy this celebration as normal. This will be Quadrant Court’s first Bonfire Night, so make the first one is a safe one by celebrating sensibly.
